About Yerevan State Medical University

Admission Requirements
The prospective student should be over 17 years of age and have an aggregate of 60% or above with English as a compulsory subject.
The candidate must obtain Certificate of Eligibility from Medical Council of India before joining the University.
After completion of graduation, student has to pass a screening test conducted by National Board of Examination, New Delhi.

Academic year
An Academic year comprises of 36 weeks divided into two terms. First term begins on 2nd of September and ends on 10th of January with tests and exams. Second term starts as on 7th of February and ends on 10th of June. In between of two terms are vacations (2 weeks winter vacations and 8 weeks summer vacations).

Accommodation
International students are provided with hostel facilities until the end of their education. During the first year of studies, students are accommodated in the University hostel which is quite close to the University campus.
The hostel rooms are very spacious, comfortable and provided with all sorts of basic necessities.
There is also a separate accommodation for girls.
